Placid provides an online appointment booking and management platform for barbershops, salons, and their customers. Our services include online booking, appointment management, staff scheduling, and optional communication features.
3. User Accounts
Business owners may create accounts to manage their shops. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Booking and Appointments
Customers can book appointments through the platform. Booking availability is subject to the business's schedule and staff availability. We do not guarantee appointment availability.
5. SMS Communications
Users may voluntarily consent to receive SMS messages related to appointment scheduling and account activity. Consent is not required to use the service.
If you opt in to SMS communications, you may receive appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling updates, and customer support messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
6. Payments
Payment for services is handled directly between the business and the customer. Placid may facilitate payment processing through third-party providers but is not responsible for pricing, refunds, or payment disputes.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the Placid platform are owned by Placid or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
Placid is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
